While you can been seen without a referral by one of our doctors, to be able to claim back the Medicare subsidy you will require an up to date referral from a doctor. You can check with your doctors PA as to whether or not your exisiting referral is up to date or not.

While most patients are able to make decisions as to their treatment, after a single consultation, some people require extra time / consultations before feeling they are able to make an informed decision about their treatment options. You will be free to make as many appointments as you need before deciding on a course of treatment. Because our doctors work in a multidisciplinary team, you are quite likely to be referred to one of the other team members for a formal consultation. Your treating doctor will arrange these as necessary.

You should bring all paperwork, referrals, scan results, scans, biopsy results and relevant medical documents to your first visit so your treating doctor can review these.
